St Thomas More is supporting the Red Shield Appeal this Winter.

The cost-of-living crisis is impacting more Australians than ever — from rental unaffordability and mortgage stress to financial hardship, mental health issues and much more. This year, we will be talking to the children about the Salvation Army and the work they do for the people of Adelaide.

On Friday, 30th August, St Thomas More School will be supporting the Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal.

• Students may come to school dressed in RED
• We invite families to send along a gold coin donation
• Join us for a special assembly at 9am to hear from a Corps Officer from our local Salvation Army.

Donating for a cause

Our donations will contribute to the Salvation Army’s work to raise money for a purpose-built community shower and laundry trailer for those in need.

Together we hope to help people experiencing hardship, crisis, and isolation.
