Keeping Children Safe
We recognise that students learning is enhanced when they feel safe, happy and a sense of belonging to their school community. We are committed to student’s wellbeing through a variety of whole school programs and preventative strategies.
The Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC) is a respectful relationships and child safety curriculum. It teaches children and young people from age 3 to year 12, to recognise abuse, tell a trusted adult, understand what is appropriate and inappropriate touching, and ways to keep themselves safe.
Resources for Parents & Caregivers
The KS:PC provide the fact sheets below, for parents wanting more information about the CPC. It also provides support strategies and directs them to other important information.

We know that the safety and wellbeing of your child is your highest priority.
Every child has the right to be safe and free from all kinds of abuse, including bullying and harassment, and neglect. Schools are mandated child safe environments with legal, policy and procedural requirements for staff and volunteers. The South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools (SACCS) requires its schools to implement child safety policies and practices, including child safety education.
