During Term 3 in Science, Year 2MD are learning to identify celestial objects and to describe the patterns we observe in the sky.

We have been looking closely at the changing positions of the Earth, Sun, Moon and stars. This week our focus has been on how the sun moves across the sky from east to west and how the light from the sun creates shadows.

We went on a shadow hunt in the schoolyard and then created these amazing shadow artworks.
